only other thing i can think of is it might need splitting and going on to the rocker covers?

how very true :)
i want to cut the back off mine but i know mr iva man will then be expecting me to visit with just short of £500 and a massive list of fail points that could never be sorted

I love that i did it! but would never again! cost much more than £500 with everything they expected and losts of trouble!

mot station said that it should be fine to do as it wasnt changing the wheelbase, however the direct gov web site says "any alterations to chassis"
arghhhhh

DVLA also said the same as mot place but they all differ whichever part of the country you live in :(

The rule is any change the anything to do with the chassis

thought so
guess i need to work out how best to disguise the ugliness of the rear bit then - maybe some custom tube welding to elongate the roof section
guess sketchpad will be my new best app to play with - lol
