I've been keeping myself busy rebuilding a Series2, with a 200tdi engine:

Finally finished it at the beginning of November.

I've been running it for about a month now, and it is the mutts nuts!

Weighing in at just short of 1300kg, and powered by a 200TDi, it doesn't half shift!

That IS very nice!
My first Landy was a S2A, its still around locally. I'd have it back with out thinking if I got the chance. It was a very early Diesel, pre suffix. Block cracked so sold it to a chap about 12 years ago who had the time and money to fix it.
LWB wheels would make yours look even better IMHO!

Thanks!

Sadly it isn't as original as I would like, the previous owner sold the bulkhead, and I could only find a Series 3 one for sensible money.

I would like some more "original" looking wheels, but they would need to be at least 6.5" wide as the tyres are 235/85/16 General Grabbers, the 8 spokes were off the Disco I used for the Sahara. I am considering a set of Wolf rims from Vass, or if I can find a set, Series 2or3 1 ton rims.

I've got 4 Disco steels if you want 'em!
Want rubbing down and a coat of paint, probably not what you'r looking for though...
Wern't some 130's fitted with 6.5" wide rims with out the holes like Wolf rims?
