The distance between the top of the chassis, (just next to the shocker turret) which is the highest part of the chassis, and the under side of the bonnet at its lowest point, the internal frame is approximately 22.5 inches.

My dvla office said not to put it down as a 4x4 light utility as this then alters the LEZ status!
I'm on a 1984 RRC 3.5v8
The DVLA rang me and had a long chat about what the effect of changing to light utility, removing the word "estate" that is the norm on the RRC v5's
Still waiting for it to come back so i can see.
THen got to check with the insurance co that they will be happy with the modification of a new body and effective cabriolet with cage!
